"Cute road side restaurant just outside of Galena. Worth a stop after the drive. serving up a salad bar, home made soups (we enjoyed stuffed pepper soup that day), house smoked meats and a variety of micro and regular beers and beverages. Exceptional service by the wait staff and I think the owner who was so excited to share how they prepare their food, right down to the farm they get the local cheese curds from. The decor is all log cabin and very clean. Outside they have a bar area and bag games to play (it is by the parking lot so I don't think suitable for small kids - but the inside is.) There is also a 2nd floor loft which might be nice for smaller private gatherings."
